Let’s bake – Texas Peanut Butter Sheet Cake

What you need:
2 C. all-purpose flour
2 C. sugar
1/2 Tsp. baking soda
1 C. butter
1 C. water
1/4 C peanut butter
2 eggs beaten
1 Tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 buttermilk

For the icing:
1/2 C. butter
1/4 C. peanut butter
1/3 C. + 1 Tbsp. milk
1 (16 oz) powdered sugar
1 Tsp. vanilla extract

Combine flour, sugar, salt & baking soda – set aside.
Combine eggs, vanilla, buttermilk – set aside.
In a medium saucepan bring to boil butter, water, & peanut butter.

Mix everything together. Add to a large sheet pan and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clear.

While the cake bakes, in the same saucepan melt the butter, peanut butter, vanilla & milk add to the confectioner sugar until well blended.

Poke holes in the top of the hot cake, pour icing over hot cake.
